  1. Continue to grow and support our yoga community.

  2. Continue grants to support instruction for those with less access to yoga.

  1. Community Events: creating shared experiences on which to build new one-on-one relationships among folks who may not otherwise have chance to meet.

  2. Opening the Doors GRANTS bringing certified teachers to underserved populations.

  3. Opening the Doors SCHOLARSHIP, refocused to help provide full yoga teacher 200 hour certification training to promote cultural diversity of yoga community.


  • 4th year of partnership with the Milwaukee Art Museum Yoga @ the Museum program bringing 200+ yoga practitioners of all kinds together monthly

  • 2nd year of Yoga @ the Parks bringing yoga instruction to neighborhood parks weekly in the summer

  • 6th Milwaukee Global Mala bringing 300+ yoga studios, teachers & practitioners together for peace

  • 1st year of collaboration with NEWAUKEE for Yoga @ Urban Island Beach Party

  • Grants provided 40 yoga classes to 1st graders at Cass Street School

  • Scholarship provided 200 hr teaching certification tuition and mentorship for our first omTown Scholar--- an individual from Milwaukee’s northwest side who has already begun bringing her developing yoga teaching skills to students among people of color at Walnut Way and Urban Ecology Center Washington Park / Hank Aaron Trail.

  • Co-op space secured to provide a community space for wellness offerings for all yoga community including overflow space for all local yoga studios & teachers.



  • Less than $15,000 in gross receipts

  • 100% of income supported program & organizational costs

  • Executive Director and all staff served solely unpaid as volunteers, as has been our history since inception of omTownYogis, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.



It is because of our event guests, partners, sponsors, teachers, advisors, grant recipients & their students and all of our friends that make our vision clear, our strategies workable and our goals possible. Thousands of hours from our volunteers coupled with smiles and incredibly generous & loving attitudes fuel the omTown engine!
