RESCHEDULING THIS WORKSHOP FOR MAY-- instructor is ill. Sorry for any inconvenience

Workshop led by Brian Eisold

The Wisconsin biennial budget is currently being crafted by the Joint Finance Committee, made up of Democrats and Republicans in the state Senate and Assembly.  During the month of April, the committee will be taking input on the budget from Wisconsin citizens. This is so important because the final bill this committee creates determines how our tax dollars are spent over the next two years on everything from infrastructure, K-12 education, the environment, public health, the UW system, and public safety.

Each Participant in this workshop will each produce their own concise and effective written message advocating a position or concern. This message may be in the form of a letter, or in a testimony that to submit to the Joint Finance Committee. The workshop is a supportive environment, open to people on all ends of the political spectrum.

Brian Eisold is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with degrees in communication, political science, and a certificate in peace studies and conflict resolution. Brian is currently on leave from Norwich University, where he is working on a MA in American History. He is a former legislative assistant and political consultant, and is currently engaged in community organizing.
